We will be raising the league of seers and prophets and the end of this retreat in Jesus name.
The topic of emphasis tonight is 'exploring the levels of the prophetic ministry'. I will be very brief but Holy Spirit will minister to us all by His grace.
I will be sharing with us four (4) levels of the prophetic ministry. Listen, I quote a Man of God, he said 'The gift and calling of God are irrevocable but the anointing of the Lord flows according to the relationship we have with the Holy Spirit'.
It's pity that the church run after the gift today but neglects the giver of gifts. I've seen people do all manner of things to acquire gifts and power in the body of Christ. All this are supplements, the important things is your relationship with God.
The gift of prophecy is the ability to prophesy; The word of prophesy is the gift, while a prophet is a gift.
Ephesians 4:10-13
[10]He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
[11]And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
[12]For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
[13]Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
A prophet is a gift to men, and the essence of this gift is to perfect the believers, to edify them, not to swindle them, not to make caricature of those who Jesus die for.
Listen to me, a Prophet is first a believer, and the primary assignment is to teach the word of God, seeing vision, prophesying, giving word of knowledge are just supplements as I've mentioned earlier.

Proverbs 29:18 When there is no clear prophetic vision, people quickly wander astray. But when you follow the revelation of the word, heaven’s bliss fills your soul.
Yoruba version will say 'Iran woli' I.e Prophetic vision
NET When there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but the one who keeps the law, blessed is he.
In ministry we have the:
• Calling
• Gifting
• Anointing
..............
Calling gives identity
Gifting gives ability
Anointing gives power
Listen: The gift of the Spirit do not validate our walk with God but the fruit of the Spirit that's developed as we grow in Christ.
Let's examing the Levels of prophetic ministry and I said i will be sharing only 4 with us.

THE PROPHETIC CULTURE
This is an occurrence that occurs when the prophetic anointing operating in a particular atmosphere is at a very higher rate.
The environment is clouded with the prophetic anointing to the extent that anyone that comes into the atmosphere prophecy by the reason of this anointing
Either prophet or non-prophet once they enter into this atmosphere they catch up with prophetic utterances. It is not a matter either they prophecy before or not and it's not necessary that they will prophecy after that experience but at that point in time... They prophecy.
People ministering at this level are operating only in the prophetic anointing available at that atmosphere.
An example of such man is King Saul, Can we see the scriptures for proper understanding?
1 Samuel 19:18-24
[18]So David fled, and escaped, and came to Samuel to Ramah, and told him all that Saul had done to him. And he and Samuel went and dwelt in Naioth.
[19]And it was told Saul, saying, Behold, David is at Naioth in Ramah.
[20]And Saul sent messengers to take David: and when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as appointed over them, the Spirit of God was upon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied.
[21]And when it was told Saul, he sent other messengers, and they prophesied likewise. And Saul sent messengers again the third time, and they prophesied also.
[22]Then went he also to Ramah, and came to a great well that is in Sechu: and he asked and said, Where are Samuel and David? And one said, Behold, they be at Naioth in Ramah.
[23]And he went thither to Naioth in Ramah: and the Spirit of God was upon him also, and he went on, and prophesied, until he came to Naioth in Ramah.
[24]And he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Wherefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?
In this present days we've people like this in our churches and in our meetings, prophesying accurately does not makes you a prophet. Have you imagine how some of us in the c&s flows highly in the prophetic and when we go to other denomination we don't move as such. I'm not saying God is not there but there are limit to your manifestation if you only operate in the prophetic atmosphere.
THE GIFT OF PROPHECY
This is the Holy Spirit gift working in a man. The gift of prophecy is for the purpose of:
Edification, Exhortation, and Consolation.
Do we see this?
Any prophecy that don't carry this attributes should be questioned
Prophecy is the solution to problems not problem itself
You must know that prophecy is a gift not an award
You don't cook and eat egg before getting it....
You don't read seven book of Moses to get it.
You don't go from frying pan to fire to acquire it
You don’t use money to buy it
Oftentimes prophecy as caused a lot of chaos in most people's life.
Your pastor or prophet don’t have to sleep with you to receive the gift of prophecy.
May God give us understanding!
Let's see 1cor. 12:4_11
1 Corinthians 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
12:5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
12:6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
12:9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
12:10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
12:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
These are the spiritual gifts as revealed to brother Paul.
So... gift of prophecy is one of the nine gift of the Holy Spirit... which every believer must have... Did you have it?
Every believer has the gift of the Holy Spirit but desire make them manifest... If it has not yet manifest … Desire now!!
Begin to desire…! 1 Corinthians 14:1-3
[1]EAGERLY PURSUE and seek to acquire [this] love [make it your aim, your great quest]; and earnestly desire and cultivate the spiritual endowments (gifts), especially that you may prophesy (interpret the divine will and purpose in inspired preaching and teaching).
[2]For one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God, for no one understands or catches his meaning, because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths and hidden things [not obvious to the understanding].
[3]But [on the other hand], the one who prophesies [who interprets the divine will and purpose in inspired preaching and teaching] speaks to men for their upbuilding and constructive spiritual progress and encouragement and consolation.
Lemme tell you, that you prophesy does not make you a prophet.
I imagine young ministers today running after Rods all because they see vision. They fight for title to be added to their name like prophet this prophet that.
Gift is not by your maturity in Christ necessarily. That's why the gift of the Spirit doesn’t validate our walk with God.
The gift work through a man, and the fruit works in a man.
In a nutshell, the gift of prophecy is to build up not to cast down, to call near not to chase away, to cheer up and not to make sad.
If your prophecy isn't encouraging the church then it has loose is savor in the word. The gift of prophecy is to bring out the best in people.
Any prophecy that's not in the light of the finished work of Christ is divination.
Is an error!!! Any prophecy that ask you to kill ram or goat is not of God.
Abi Will the death of jesus be in vain?
Lemme share this with us: I got an understanding that most of this prophet of our days are not entirely wrong with their prophecy. Some of them see clearly but they lack the knowledge of God's word.
Lemme stretch it: Their prophecy is most time correct but they couldn't interpret it properly. The prophecy is spiritual but they interpret it carnally. They apply their own knowledge to the things of God.
Did you know when a prophet see irapada for you it means you are not saved? i.e you need Christ.
Omg ... May God give us understanding
Yes, when he see irapada, what he see is that you are dead and you need the life to Christ. But when they interpret it they will tell you to bring rams .... hmmmm, but Christ has already settled that, we come into this experience by faith.
