THE PROPHET AND THE PROPHETIC 

Topic: Understanding the Prophetic Ministry

Shofar of Euaggellion.

Many Sons will be called this week and Depth of God will be revealed but as many that will be called only the few that has purged themselves will be Chosen for the Master's use in our generation.

First and foremost, the church of Jesus Christ is a Prophetic church; any church that is not prophetic is a mere monument no matter the Outward beauty.

Furthermore, the Old testament and New testament are hinged on the Prophetic Ministry nothing less than that. Jesus entering the synagogue is Luke 4 said upon reading Isaiah that today is the Scriptures fulfilled which was a long-aged prophecy.

Luke 4:17-21

[17]And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

[18]The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 

[19]To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. 

[20]And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

[21]And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. 

Listen, the Outburst of the New Testament in Act 2 was not just the Fulfillment of a Prophecy of Joel but the activation of the Prophetic Realm.

Have you not read in Ephesians 2:20?

20. And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

The Passion Translation Ephesians 2:20 You are rising like the perfectly fitted stones of the temple; and your lives are being built up together upon the ideal foundation laid by the apostles and prophets, and best of all, you are connected to the Head Cornerstone of the building, the Anointed One, Jesus Christ himself!

We are built...

And don't forget that no foundation means no building.

The Prophetic Ministry is so real that Satan is doing everything in is capacity to create a prototype with false prophets’ abi you haven't seen 1john4:1?

1. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

However please note that Seeing Vision and other things isn't even the core of the ministry because as an elect, blessed are your eyes for they see. Matthew 13:16

[16]But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. 

 Matthew 13: 11-14

11. He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

12. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

13. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

14. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive.

Hear me well, if you can't hear or See things in the Spirit as an elect Check your Fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

Please help me with two Scriptures as I round up.

Hebrew 1:1 

1. God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets.

2Peter 1:20-21

20. Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

21. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

God pattern of communication is via the Prophets because they are medium of communication, they are mouthpiece, and they are territorial commanders.

Check Isaiah, check Elijah, Check Jeremiah, Check Deborah you will see as they fulfill all the above roles and a common phenomenon among them is that you see at head of the chapter the word; "The word of the Lord Came"

'Operating in the Prophetic Ministry is Operating in the Word of the Lord.'

Hear this, the Church that will impart lives is the church whose leader have been above to master the art of Getting the Word of the Lord, from the Lord in a Fresh and Daily manner to Minister to God's people.

As a Prophetic church people ought to come to our meeting with Burdens hidden to men but as the Minister has tarried who himself have become a son (Hebrew 1:2 because God Speaks through the Son now) God exposes the intent of men to him and he ministers to their individual cases regardless of how much it is.

The end time church is the church that is living in the Spirit of the Lord which is Prophetic.. Check Rev 19:10

Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

The Prophetic Ministry is the ministry of the Holy Ghost.

No Holy Ghost to Ministry at all

Most importantly, you can only be Prophetic as much as you are in the word.

 See1john 4:2-3 to help us debunk some myth about this Glorious ministry as we pray.

1 John 4:2-4

[2]Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

[3]And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

[4]Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

1. A prophet is that Man or Woman who have experienced Christ through the mouth confession of his Incarnation. so, if Babalawo comes to your church wearing garment or suit without accepting Christ and telling you some things that appears deep to you and you are in awe then you are not a son.

2. A prophet is that person who have known that Christ came in the Flesh therefore destroying the power of Sin, Satan and Sickness over you in this life.

So anyone that says we cannot overcome Sin, Satan, or Sickness but belief in Irapada to get few money from you isn't In this ministry.. Read the Old testaments and you will know how fake Prophets can lead men astray.

3. Any Spirit that Confess not the Jesus and His cross being the absolute propitiation for the world is invalid.

On this note, Read 1cor14:24-25, 31.

In essence the Prophetic Ministry is the ministry that exposes Sin.

• It comforts

• It edifies

• It strengthens. Etc.

To Operate in the Prophetic Ministry is to Operate in the ministry of Jesus (Heb1:2) because it is the ministry of Sons.

Hebrews 1:2

[2]Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

The ministry of Sons is the 7Spirit of God. Check Isaiah 11:2.. 

Isaiah 11:2

[2]And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
