THE PRICE FOR SIN HAS BEEN PAID

 

SIN WILL NO MORE TAKE MAN TO HELL

Why?🤷🏽‍♂️

SIN HAS BEEN PAID FOR ONCE AND FOR ALL

Jesus has paid the price for sin by laying down His life.

The Passion Translation 1 John 2:2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

1 John 2:1

[1](1-2) I write this, dear children, to guide you out of sin. But if anyone does sin, we have a Priest-Friend in the presence of the Father: Jesus Christ, righteous Jesus. When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good—not only ours, but the whole world's.

If Jesus which is GOD solve the sin problem and paid the price with His own life, how then can sin still take man to hell when it has been paid for.

However, the sacrifice of Jesus is sufficient for ALL but efficient, potent, productive, effectual for those who believes in Him, the sacrifice is not for Christians alone but for the WHOLE WORLD but until a man accept Him who has paid the price for sin there won't be freedom from sin.

So, Jesus has paid for the sin of the world (PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE), JESUS will not die again tomorrow to atone for anyone because He did that once and for all.

Hebrews 9:24-28

[24]For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

[25]Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;

[26]For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

[27]And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

[28]So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

What will take man to hell is unbelief/ rejection of the message of Christ (GOSPEL).

This is not a licence to sin at all because the cure for sin cannot be the cause of sin at the same time. Mind you if you still sin because you are covered by Grace you are doing yourself a lot of evil than good. You are denying yourself of heavenly realities because no man can rise beyond his level of consecration. And you bear the consequence of your reward in your own body.  Like you commit adultery and contact Aids... you bear the pains and shame yourself.

So, this is not a licence to sin but the truth of the word of God. 

I was listening to a sermon this morning by one of my father of faith and the hymn he sang first before his sermon was IRAPADA ITAN IYANU... and Holy Spirit minister to me that I should pay attention to that hymn and when it got to stanza 3 I got the life in the hymn, lemme show us

Ęsę ki yio tun l'agbara mo 

Bi ko tile ye danwa wo 

Nipa ise 'rapada Kristi 

Agbara ęsę yio parun 

3. No longer shall sin have dominion 

Though present to temp and annoy

For Christ, in His blessed redemption

The power of sin shall He destroy.

And as I began to sing just as you are singing now the revelation of the hymn began to open to me in the word of God.

The ultimate goal of the Christ is to pay the price by using His life as a substitute to pay the cost for sin. 

Sin held man in captivity since that day that Adam disobey God in Eden but Christ came, crucify between criminals because we are criminals, he died to pay for my sins (past, future and present) and not for mine alone but the sins of the world).

1 John  2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

And on the third day he resurrected for my justification... How then will sin take man to hell after God himself came to pay the ransom for sin?

Sin(past, present and future) has been paid for, once and for all.. .. and sin will no more have dominion over man ... Romans 6:14

The Passion Translation Romans 6:14 Remember this: sin will not conquer you, for God already has! You are not governed by law but governed by the reign of the grace of God.

Romans 6:14

[14]For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

It took God to leave all he had to come, walk on the surface of the earth, captured as a thief, beaten as a criminal crucified as such... tell me 

How on earth will sin take man to hell?

Therefore, we are bought with a price(1Cor.6:20). He was a ransom for us(Matt.20:28).

1 Corinthians 6:20

[20]For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

The Passion Translation 1 Corinthians 6:20 You were God’s expensive purchase, paid for with tears of blood, so by all means, then, use your body to bring glory to God!

Matthew 20:28

[28]Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. 

So, this is the design of God to pay the ransom for sin so we can be deliver from the power of sin and death and in exchange we receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life. 

Therefore brethren,  what will take man to hell(eternal destruction) is rejecting the gospel, for this is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believe. Romans 1:16.

Romans 1:16

[16]For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Believe in the gospel and be saved.
