A DEAD CHURCH

I was examining the letter of Jesus to the church in Revelation 3 and i found a place it was written that:

I KNOW YOUR WORKS, THAT YOU HAVE A NAME THAT YOU ARE ALIVE BUT YOU ARE DEAD. 

Revelation 3:1-3

[1]And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. 

[2]Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. 

[3]Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. 

I had to take a breath and fixed my gaze beyond the letters and in my meditation I found out that:

 ● MEN could still celebrate a DEAD CHURCH

● A DEAD CHURCH can still display gifts

● A DEAD CHURCH can still work miracles, signs and wonders 

● A DEAD CHURCH can still have a large congregation 

● People might still sing the praises of a DEAD CHURCH 

● Members of a DEAD CHURCH might still have testimonies 

However, in heaven they already paste the obituary of the church.

 “To the angel (divine messenger) of the church in Sardis write: “These are the words of Him who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: ‘I know your deeds; you have a name (reputation) that you are alive, but [in reality] you are dead.

REPUTATION, STRUCTURE, INSTRUMENTATION, MEDIA and all don't make a church a LIVING CHURCH as many of us thought today, those things are good but they are not the primary.

ITS GOOD THAT WE HAVE A CONDUCIVE PLACE OF WORSHIP BUT IF JESUS IS NOT FOUND THE CHURCH IS DEAD.

Some pastors has compromised the MESSAGE for self gain 

They traded the message of the cross for silver and gold

So many unscriptured fellow has been doomed by them in the name of prophecy and the prophetic.

IS THIS HOW YOU RECEIVED IT?

Amplified Bible Revelation 3:2 Wake up, and strengthen and reaffirm what remains [of your faithful commitment to Me], which is about to die; for I have not found [any of] your deeds completed in the sight of My God or meeting His requirements.

JESUS IS CHARGING TO STRENGTHEN WHAT REMAINS

You are not condemned; not at all, and don't let satan shut

you out of His LOVE.

HE LOVES YOU COME BACK TO JESUS

JESUS SAVES
