PRAYER DON'T SAVE, THE GOSPEL DOES

Sinners will perish if all we do is to pray.

As much as we pray which is of utmost important we must engage evangelism, which is to preach the power of God unto salvation; THE GOSPEL (Romans 1:16).

Romans 1:16

[16]For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Prayers only make a way for the WORD, however no man can get saved by prayer alone which is why all believers must take the message of the cross to the market place and witness JESUS.

We must be very intentional about soul winning  

Either cooperate or individual we must get busy with EVANGELISM not as a ceremonial activity, annual programme, but as every day commission.

Prayer don't save, the gospel does.

Romans 10:13-15

[13]For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

[14]How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

[15]And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

My emphasis is, HOW SHALL THEY BELIEVE IN HIM OF WHOM THEY HAVE NOT HEARD?

Can you take a time to meditate on this?

Our prayers will have no effect until we subscribe to EVANGELISM because someone has to preach the gospel. Angels won't preach the gospel, men will, but if the church stay in the four corners of their wall and keep praying, who will preach the gospel?

The gospel is to be preached not to be prayed... WE MUST PREACH THE GOSPEL 

You don't need microphone, you don't need a pulpit, you don't need crowd necessarily, preach to that brother, preach to that sister, preach on the bus... you opening your mouth to save that soul might be an answer to a long term prayer of some people.

Some men are really labouring for soul in the place of prayer, however to get men saved, the gospel have to be preached. Evangelism is not for show but the preaching of the testimony of Jesus.

Mark 16:15

[15]And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 

Listen, evangelism is not for some selected few or to some particular office but to everyone in the body of Christ. Believers only complain in our days but never take step. Let's move from complaining and face reality. Preach the gospel everyday, everywhere to everybody.

Start from that your friend!

Start from that your brother!

Your mind should be at peace that your children are going to your brother's place for holiday not because he is your brother but because he is a believer.

Souls are perishing everyday, arise thou that sleepest!!!
